Alixandra R. Bamford is a Canadian artist and writer. In spring 2010 she completed a HBSc. in Linguistics & Animal Physiology at U of T. She wrote and illustrated Nearest the Mouth during her final two years there; Outside Voices published it May 2010. Alixandra began her 2nd graphic novel immediately and self-published it May 2011 — you can read about Thin Ice here. She is currently planning a third graphic novel, as well as a longer fiction project which she hopes may become a novel.
